In June, GE and FieldCore teams successfully completed a major outage at Dalia Power Plant. Despite the complexity of the project and various challenges like ambient temperatures above 45oC, GE and FieldCore worked as ONE Team in close cooperation with the customer achieving World-Class Execution. The team did an outstanding performance not only finalizing the outage in less than 40 days, but also achieving zero lost time accidents and completing all EHS and Quality audits with positive scores.
The Shin Nagoya Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant is one of Chubu Electric Power Co Inc’s biggest investments in natural gas-fired combined-cycle power generation in Japan. The facility, located in Nagoya City has been operating since 1998, with a capacity of 1458MW, powering communities and commercial developments in central Japan.
A Rotor in Major inspection (RIMI) was carried out by the GE and FieldCore Teams at ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Chemical Plant in Jurong Island, Singapore. The chemical plant, boasting an ethylene capacity of 1.9 million tons per year, is fully integrated with a refinery facility to form ExxonMobil’s largest integrated refining and petrochemical complex in the world.
A major inspection was recently completed by the FieldCore Team at the Chia-Hui Gas-Fired Power Station, in Taiwan. Operating since December 2003, the 670MW combined cycle thermal power plant, located at Ming-Hsiung Hsian in the Chia Yi County, generates electricity to power the Taiwan grid and industrial sector.
