Success Stories

In June, GE and FieldCore teams successfully completed a major outage at Dalia Power Plant. Despite the complexity of the project and various challenges like ambient temperatures above 45oC, GE and FieldCore worked as ONE Team in close cooperation with the customer achieving World-Class Execution. The team did an outstanding performance not only finalizing the outage in less than 40 days, but also achieving zero lost time accidents and completing all EHS and Quality audits with positive scores.

Thanks to the strong and experienced project team, the gas turbine, steam turbine and generator inspections were concluded successfully, and the plant now operates with 100% reliability. Today, Dalia is more pleased with the performance of the GE and FieldCore teams than ever before and look forward to continuing our fruitful relationship for many more years to come. The plant’s management emphasized the outstanding performance of the FieldCore team during the outage – “I would like to express our appreciation for FieldCore’s professional and dedicated work in the last few months. The planning of the C-Inspection done by the team was essential to secure a successful execution. The team’s performance and high leadership capabilities were key to mitigate the challenges during the outage. The full collaboration and understanding of Dalia’s needs was a crucial factor.” said Oved Debby, CEO of Dalia Power Energies.

“Amazing job by both GE and FieldCore teams under though conditions. Planning, dedication and ownership benefited us as well as our customer. Let’s repeat the same success next year with Dalia’s sister unit.” said Caglar Celik, East Sub-Region Director for FieldCore in Europe. “Thanks to everyone involved in making this a successful safe outage for our customer. Great teamwork across the whole execution”.

Dalia CCPP is located in South-central Israel and has an overall output of approximately of 900 MW with a maximum efficiency of 58%. Dalia is a major player in the electricity market and accounts for about 10% of the Israeli electricity production. GE and Dalia Power Energies has been cooperating since 2013 when Alstom, now GE was chosen as the OEM and EPC provider and awarded a 20-year O&M contract for the plant.

This is another great example of GE and FieldCore teams partnering closely to deliver the best service for customers. Thanks to everyone who contributed to achieve this successful outage!
