One Team Collaboration Drives Successful Cross-Regional Field Support

To meet customer needs during two major steam turbine outages in Latin America, teams across regions came together to provide a seamless solution. When the LATAM team identified the need for additional manpower, the Asia region quickly stepped in with an offer to support with experienced field personnel from Indonesia. This collaboration marked the first time an Asia-based crew was deployed to a project in Latin America.

Resource Managers and immigration specialists across both regions partnered closely to coordinate logistics, secure the necessary work authorizations, and ensure a smooth and safe transition for the incoming team.

The assignment ultimately brought together supervisors and craft employees from Asia, working side by side with local teams from Peru, Brazil, and Mexico. To support effective integration on site, the LATAM team implemented several measures, including:

  • Translating EHS, Quality, and visual management materials
  • Updating tooling directories and adapting toolbox talks to support multilingual teams
  • Providing culturally sensitive accommodations, including a dedicated prayer space

The effort reflects the strength of our One Team mindset—leveraging global capabilities, respecting cultural differences, and delivering high-quality work as a unified field services organization.
