Jan 6, 2026 | Success Stories

We are proud to share that three GE Vernova-operated power plants have been recognized by the Combined Cycle Journal (CCJ) with Best Practice Awards for 2025:

  • Bhikki Power Plant – Pakistan
  • Marcus Hook Energy Facility – U.S.A.
  • River Road Generating Station – U.S.A.

The CCJ Best Practice Awards annually recognizes the best practices learned among owners and operators of large frame and aeroderivative gas turbines from across the world.

The awards celebrate outstanding initiatives that enhance safety, outage management, and overall performance, including improvements in starting reliability, rapid start-ups, thermal efficiency, lowering emissions, and reducing forced outages.

This achievement highlights GE Vernova’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and reliability across our global fleet. It is through these standards that our plants can consistently deliver more value to our customers.

Congratulations to the teams at Bhikki, Marcus Hook, and River Road for setting the benchmark in best practices and demonstrating the power of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Thank you to everyone who contributes daily to making GE Vernova a leader in energy solutions. Together, we are driving progress toward a more sustainable and efficient future!
