Earlier this year, GE and FieldCore were recognized by one of our main customers in Latin America (a leading steel company that manufactures a wide range of products in the Americas) as a number one “Safe Provider,” obtaining the highest score among other non-public companies in the first edition of their Safe Supplier program. This is an Environment Health and Safety (EHS) program implemented in Brazil in resonance with the global EHS initiatives of the entire group. Bimonthly assessments were carried out with 25 companies participating in the program. Each company’s performance was analyzed based on five sets of criteria: measurement and control of health & safety indicators; risk identification and control; competence, training & awareness; equipment certification; and legal requirements. The objective of the program is to stimulate safe behavior with all the steel mill’s suppliers.
FieldCore, being GE’s field services partner, played a crucial part in obtaining such recognition thanks to our team’s commitment to safety and quality. The outstanding teamwork led by GE and FieldCore together demonstrated how engaged we are, as one team, to deliver with focus and to empower the people who power the world. This is a great honor to receive and highlights our hard work to ensure that everyone goes home safely every day.

During the audits, we identified robust EHS management processes. We also saw digitalization (automation) of the processes, which facilitates the leadership to make decisions.
