Mike is the president and CEO of FieldCore, a new industrial field services company that delivers the highest standard of field service excellence and capabilities for GE and its customers. As new GE company, FieldCore brings together the field service expertise and people from both Granite Services and GE’s Power Services into one powerhouse.
He is responsible for developing and delivering a global field services strategy with a focus on field operating excellence, outage management, and customer fulfillment.
FieldCore is an independently operated company aligned to GE’s Power Services business, a $15 billion organization within GE Power. Power Services offers customers total plant capabilities, expanded local resources and expertise, and stronger collaboration opportunities to help them be more successful.
Mike began his GE career in 1989 as an international gas turbine field engineer. He advanced through various management positions in Europe and the U.S. In 2006, he moved to London as general manager for GE’s air filtration business. In 2009, he was appointed general manager of Global Operations for GE’s Power Generation Services business. In 2012, he joined Alstom’s Thermal Services business as vice president of the service network. Mike re-joined GE in November 2015 as the integration leader for Power Services when GE acquired Alstom’s Power and Grid businesses. He was named to his current role leading FieldCore in March 2017.
