FIELDCORE NORTH AMERICA TOOLING DONATES “JAWS OF LIFE” TO OHIO FIRE STATION

The “Jaws of Life” are an iconic rescue tool used by firefighters the world over to safely free passengers in auto accidents and other emergencies. It is also a tool FieldCore employees have used for years to remove stator bars from generators. Rather than discarding these tools through our normal obsolete tool process, Chris Crookshanks, Director of NAM Tool Centers, came up with a great alternative … donate them to local fire departments.

THANKS TO THE PEOPLE OF UMBURANAS

In March 2018, FieldCore began a project in a wind farm close to Umburanas. The community didn’t have the infrastructure to lodge the team assigned to the project so FieldCore arranged with a vendor for the construction of a building with 26 rooms where the team could live during the 13 months of the project.
