In April and May, FieldCore Turkey in cooperation with the Bilkent University participated in the “Business for All” and “Beyond Limits” interactive discussion panels that represents a platform for students to meet with industry and business leaders.
The event was organized by the Bilkent University (founded in 1984 in Ankara, and one of the nation’s leading research universities) and attracted more than 500 students. This year’s theme, Beyond Borders, was intended to empower young voices and remind students what a great potential they have and what they are capable of. Conversations focused on the energy sustainability, climate change, environment, and its impact on ecosystems and how FieldCore is helping to sustain energy efforts in Turkey. Our leaders also shared some personal experiences on what should be important for young people when building their professional careers.
After asking students to submit applicable projects, the winners were identified. Students, mainly from the Industrial Engineering and Management Faculty were awarded, among others, by FieldCore, who sponsors a mentorship program to support the brightest students of the Bilkent University.
The panel discussions were joined by FieldCore’s Leaders from Europe – Çağlar Çelik (Sub-Region East Director), Petrino Ferrara (Renewables Director for Europe), Derya Şen (HR Manager for Sub Region East and Renewables), Çağlar Polat (Resource Manager) and Cem Filiz (EHS Manager).
